Simple Instructions for Collecting a Sperm Sample

Before You Start

  1. Wait 3-5 Days – Do not ejaculate (release sperm) for 3–5 days before collecting the sample.

  2. Stay Healthy – If you’ve been sick with a fever lately, wait until you’re better.

  3. Clean Up – Wash your hands and private parts with soap and water before collecting.

How to Collect the Sample

  1. Use a Clean Cup – Use a sterile (germ-free) plastic container and water based lubricant. Do not use a regular condom or lubricants.

  2. Masturbate – Do this into the cup. (This is the best way to collect the sample.)

    • If you can’t do this, ask us for special condoms.

  3. Don’t Spill! – Try to get all the semen into the cup. If any is lost, you may need to try again another day.

After Collecting

  1. Close the Lid Tightly – Make sure no dirt or water gets inside.

  2. Write Your Info – Label the cup with:

    • Your name

    • Date and time of collection

    • How many days you waited (e.g., "3 days")

  3. Keep It Warm – Hold the cup close to your body or keep it at room temperature. Do not put it in the fridge or let it get too hot.

Arranging Your Visit

  • Text 'Visit' once collection is complete to initiate the evaluation

  • While waiting, keep the sample warm (like in your pocket) or at room temperature.

What If Something Goes Wrong?

  • Spilled or Contaminated? – Let us know and collect a new sample another day.
